Today, 2nd May 2016, we gathered at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Brentwood, to celebrate the historic Centenary of Province 10.
On behalf of Ovie, and myself, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to His Lordship, Bishop Alan Williams, as well as Rev. Fr. Jeff Woolnough (Provincial Chaplain), Fr. John Harvey (Cathedral Dean), and Rev. Joao (Stratford Chaplain) for officiating today’s Mass.
We were honored by the presence of Supreme Knight Bro. Michael Akinrele and Lady Anthonia Akinrele, as well as Bro. Melvin and Bro. Paddy Boyle (PPGK, Province 12).
My thanks also go to the Past Directors and Past PGKs of Province 10: Brothers Brian Dillon, Doug Mongan, George Johnson, Andrew Burns, and Liam Rands. We also hold in our hearts the widows and families of our departed Past PGKs and worthy deceased Brothers who honoured us with their presence and all Provincial Officers, Worthy Grand Knights, Knights, and families: thank you !!!
Finally, a special thank you to the Centenary Committee for their tireless work in making this thanksgiving such a resounding success.
